Our new branch of the RepRap Marlin firmware (MatterPrint3D) is starting to take shape! First added feature: auto bed leveling.
Hey RepRappers, we wanted to show off a little of the work we are doing on the firmware(1) for our Mendel90. We have been working on getting our printer to do auto-bed-leveling. The project is based off of similar work that Nophead did for his HydraRaptor's auto leveling. We had a great turnout for our meeting on Jan. 17th 2012. About 40 Southern California 3D printing enthusiasts got together for a night of sharing, printing and fun.
On Jan. 17th 2012 the Southern California 3D Printing Meetup group got together at MatterHackers for a delightful 3D printing-themed evening.  About 40 people showed up for the event and enjoyed pizza, cookies and drinks for just over two hours from 7pm to 9pm.  People brought printers and printed parts, altogether there were six different printer models on display, actively cr...
