The newest upgrade to the LulzBot TAZ Dual Extruder Tool Head has arrived! Welcome the v3 - a smaller, lighter, and more effective Dual Extrusion solution for the LulzBot TAZ 3D printer. Print with PVA for water-soluble support material or create your next project with two colors for a unique product. This toolhead comes fully assembled and ready for installation on your TAZ 5 or 6 out of the box.
Note: The v3 has replaced the v2, which is now out of production.

Upgrade your TAZ to Multimaterial with the upgraded v3
Dual extrusion 3D printing is very useful for a variety of applications, from multi color prints to multi material, but also for soluble support material like PVA and HIPS. The updated design of the LulzBot Dual Extruder Tool Head features massive improvements over the v2, the nozzles are now much closer together, for better utilization of the bed surface and also for easier calibration. When printing with only one nozzle the standard auto-calibration will operate the same as with the stock toolhead, for completely automatic bed leveling. The only additional calibration required is setting the offset between the two nozzles - required for dual extrusion prints. This kit includes everything you need to get started right away, including the power cable for the second extruder, second spool holder and filament guide tube.
